We built this app with a simple rule: only collect what we need to make your vitamin D tracking work well.
We don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
To provide useful insights, we save some information directly on your phone:
• Your skin type and typical sun exposure (how much skin is usually uncovered)
• Your vitamin D goals and default supplement amounts
• Your daily totals, past sessions, and streaks
• Your notification settings (reminders, best-window alerts, weekly summaries)
This data stays on your device and is used to calculate IU, streaks, and the charts you see in the app.
When you allow location access, we use your current location only to:
• Look up the UV index for your area
• Estimate safe and effective sun windows
We don't store a history of your GPS location, and we don't share your location with advertisers.
You can choose to share anonymous usage data with us. This helps us answer questions like:
• Which screens are people actually using?
• Where are crashes or bugs happening?
We don't include your health data, your exact location, or anything that can personally identify you in these analytics.
You can turn this on or off any time in Settings → Data & Privacy → Share anonymous analytics.
• You can turn anonymous analytics off and keep using the app normally.
• You can update or turn off notifications whenever you like.
• You can reset all app data from Settings → Data & Privacy → Reset all app data.
In future updates, we'll add easier tools to export and fully delete your data.
